A series of 2 Sessions, 1 week apart
A deeper dive into a persistent issue that is holding you back. No two sessions will be the same. We begin to work at a deeper level for more complex issues such as worrying, anxiety, panic attacks, depression, procrastination, self esteem, confidence and many other issues.
A Series of 6 Sessions, 1 week apart
Moving further into change, this 3 month programme will move you from where you are now to lasting difference, and new levels of performance in your life. You will have a profound knowledge of how to 'do you' in ways that you would never have imagined.

When you want change, we are working through these 4 steps to ensure that you get what you want -
Because where you are is where it all starts. You know what you 'have' right now is not what you want but there is so much important information here. Whether you have a long history that has brought you to this moment or something has changed more recently, we are going to bring full attention to understanding the patterns, behaviours, capabilities that are going to be part of the way forward from here.
This is often not as simple as it first might seem. Because contained in any idea that you want life to 'not be like this' is an equally important aspect of 'like how then?'. Using skills, patience and a little courage we can explore exactly what it is that you want to create less of or more of in your life.
This can be letting go of anything that is not helpful, relooking at sensitising events, building in new knowledge, new processes and building personal tools. Sometimes it can be exploring beliefs, values, and even identity around moving forwards. This is where solution focussed therapy can move things along so quickly using many different techniques.
As Step 1 changes through time, we relook at what Step 2 might look like now. Normally Step 2 gets a whole lot clearer and often much more ambitious, realistic and specific. It always gets closer and a whole lot more satisfying. Step 3 can also have changed a great deal and so we revisit at every opportunity, employing any techniques that move you forwards at the speed and intensity that you really want.

Hypnosis sometimes gets confused with the 'stage' hypnosis experience. Therapeutically, it is much more like those moments where you daydream about being somewhere else, or you remember a pleasant memory. As part of your therapy or coaching, I often use conversational hypnosis and sometimes we do an 'eyes shut' experience. This is a relaxing state where I communicate directly with your unconscious. You will likely be aware of everything that is going on and you most definitely won't be able to do anything you wouldn't normally do.

Quest Trained Cognitive Hypnotherapists and their clients took part in a research project. As a result in the September 2015 issue of the Mental Health Review Journal, a peer-reviewed article comparing Quest Cognitive Hypnotherapy (QCH) with national results for the Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) programme suggested that....
'QCH may offer a brief effective treatment for clients with clinically significant levels of anxiety and/or depression, widening client choice’.
This is a groundbreaking achievement demonstrating the robustness of Quest Cognitive Hypnotherapy as a therapy model. In an average of six sessions, 71% reported themselves recovered, compared to 42% of people using other IAPT therapies.
This article also highlights the little known fact that dropout from treatment in statutory NHS services is so high that it’s hard to really have any confidence in the outcome of statutory treatment. QCH is positioned to offer a real alternative and we are working hard to bring this to the attention of both the public and the commissioners of services.
